One thing I see so many brides worry about is factoring everyone else’s likes and dislikes into their big day only adding unnecessary stress and drama to the planning process.
Who cares if your fiancee’s third cousin twice removed hates yellow roses or that your niece turned flower girl hates the wedding dress you have absolutely fallen in love with or that your best friend hates your veil. Your wedding is not about your niece, it isn’t about your best friend, and it sure isn’t about your fiancee’s third cousin twice removed.
Your wedding day should revolve around you and your fiancee. It’s YOUR day.
It doesn’t matter if you are getting married in Southeast Texas or a vineyard in France, everyone is going to have an opinion and not everyone is going to agree with you and THAT’S OKAY. So don’t let anyone else rain on your parade because it’s yours and, in the end, that’s all that matters.
