Bachelor Party Ideas for the Golden Triangle and East Texas
These days men often walk a tightrope when it comes to planning their bachelor party. We want to have the best, most memorable day possible, without actually getting the wedding cancelled.
Here are some of our favorite options around Southeast Texas.
- Head to the San Antonio Area for a dove hunt. Try Las Lomas Ranch or Stone Yard Dove Hunts. Head to the Riverwalk for margaritas and lots of great Tex Mex options.
- Hook a redfish at Sabine Pass. https://fishsabine.com/ followed by great Tex Mex at La Suprema Restaurant in Nederland or fresh seafood at The Schooner Restaurant in Port Arthur.
- Catch Crappie on Sam Rayburn. https://www.samrayburn.com/fishing-guides followed by a steak and live music (on the weekends) at The Stump Restaurant or Rayburn Resort.
- Catch an Astros Game: followed by a great steak dinner at Pappas Brothers Steakhouse https://pappasbros.com/home/ or Vic and Anthony’s Steakhouse.
- Listen to live music in New Orleans. Stay in the Garden District. Leave your car at the hotel and explore the city by street car (ambiance + no DWI= Win Win). Get fresh oysters opened right in front of you at the bar of Felix’s Oyster Bar in the French Quarter. Try a Caesar Salad prepared tableside at Court of Two Sisters on Royal Street.
- Rent a pedal bike in Galveston . Make your way along the seawall. Catch some waves. Grab beignets at The Gumbo Diner. Enjoy a cold beer and fried fish fresh from the Gulf of Mexico at The Spot.
Sometimes we try to “go too big” for our bachelor parties.
For many of us, the best idea is spending time with special people sharing an activity we already enjoy.
