The Garden District is a totally decorated banquet facility that was designed and built with brides in mind. A wedding ceremony and reception can be held in the same spacious banquet room. Or, if you prefer, staff will come to an alternate location of your choice and help create lasting memories for a lifetime.
As a premier wedding event center we specialize in bringing your plans and ideas to reality. With an experienced staff we offer free consultation, customized decorating, linens, centerpieces, candle accents, floral, decorative backdrops, ceremonial set ups, free rehearsal, catering, rentals, cake cutting and clean up.
There are many wonderful choices for today’s bride and the Garden District keeps up with the newest Bridal trends and innovative rentals. Be inspired by family heirlooms and incorporate a shabby chic vintage look using antique lace, iron bird cages, doilies and mason canning jars with floating candles. An upscale elegant look can be achieved using our iridescent crystal trees that are wrapped in beaded crystals and a great centerpiece to dazzle your guests. Crystal falls, crystal candle holders and a lot of candlelight are great additions to the crystal trees. The Garden District’s ceiling can be draped with fabric and lights for a dramatic effect.
Rentals are available through the Garden District with on-site set up and pick up. We have your choice of linen colors, overlays, chair covers and sashes as an inspiration to your color theme. Backdrops of iron columns, and garden canopy can be a focal point to your ceremony and cake table. With the Garden Districts variety of centerpieces we can help create your style at a minimal cost. Special rentals such as coffee urn, cake plateau, chafing dishes, cake knives, all glass and flatware, champagne flutes are available. Don’t forget the margarita machine and champagne fountain for added fun at your reception.
Who can resist the delicious aroma of milk chocolate cascading from a Chocolate Fountain? Captivate guests with a display of fresh strawberries and variety of sweet treat dipping items. Feature the Chocolate Fountain for the ultimate chocolate experience. Are you ready for a sugar rush? The Garden District believes a unique way to add fun to your reception is customizing a Candy Station with our decorative glass containers, colorful candies and scoops. So scoop up some sweets and enjoy!
Foods are an important part of any reception. Impress your guests with an eye appealing display of customized appetizers from our savory treats and mini dessert lists. You can also choose from our Dinner Menu which includes items from bacon wrapped chicken breast to an Italian Pasta Bar. For an upscale dining experience opt for the Silver Dining Menu. All foods are served buffet style and are homemade and prepared on location in our kitchen by experienced staff.
